Tender description
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is considering a future requirement for a supplier to review and assess organisations based off specific criteria and standards centred around providing employment support to people with disabilities and health conditions. The proposed route for any future procurement would be through the Test & Learn Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), against the 'Working with Employer's' service line. Organisations are required to be accredited on the DPS to be considered. For more information on how to sign up to the DPS please go to: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/dwp-test-and-learn-dynamic-purchasing-system-guidance-for-businesses To support these considerations, the Department for Work and Pensions would like to conduct a market consultation in relation to this proposed procurement idea for assessments on employment support services and businesses. DWP want to understand more about those suppliers who have knowledge and experience of working with organisations who provide support to people with disabilities and also people with significant support needs in the workplace. DWP is inviting any organisation that are interested in delivering an approach that would review and assess organisations on the support they provide to individuals with a disability or health condition in employment. Bidders must have or be willing to work towards Disability Confident Level 2. There is the opportunity to bid for this work in consortium. This could also be followed up by providing training and assistance to these organisations including: - Local Authorities delivering Supported Employment provision, - Supported Businesses, and - Social Enterprises We would like to invite you to a dial in event on Tuesday 28th January 2020, where more detail will be shared. The event is a pre procurement engagement only, seeking to understand supplier capability. This does not commit DWP or LAs to any future procurement exercise. To reserve a place, please e-mail cd.test-learn@dwp.gsi.gov.uk with the name of the organisation you represent and the details will be sent to you.
