The training request: Liberty Protection Safeguards (previously DoLs), the training is for The Children Disabilities Team. This is a one day course and will need to be in-house. It should cover the following The Liberty Protection Safeguards when it became law. When it is expected that LPS will come into force and replace DoLS. What new statutory duties and responsibilities for local authorities, NHS Trusts, CCGs and Welsh health boards as well as care providers.
