INVITATION TO TENDER FOR INCLUSION ON A MULTI PARTY FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT FOR THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY & OFF LOADING OF SPRING AND SUMMER BULBS

Tender description

Dublin City Council proposes to use an initial contract to establish a four year, Multi-Party Framework Agreement, for the supply, delivery and unloading of spring and summer flowering bulbs. The framework is primarily for use by the Parks and Landscape Services Division, but may also be extended for use by other divisions of Dublin City Council. The initial contract covers the requirements to be delivered in 2020. A minimum of four (4) and a maximum of six (6) operators will be admitted to the framework provided that at least four tenderers qualify in accordance with the selection and award criteria. Where it is not possible to include four tenderers, a lesser number may be admitted to the framework. All bulbs supplied must have an EU Plant Passport, which must be made available to DCC on request. When delivered the bulbs must be labelled by species and cultivar for the purpose of identification. On delivery, each consignment will be inspected for evidence of compliance with the aforementioned standards. Bulbs which do not comply with these requirements will be rejected and must be removed and replaced at the suppliers cost. All Bulbs that are deemed to meet these standards are to be removed from the haulage container as part of the delivery and placed on the receiving area as directed by Dublin City Council Parks Staff.
