Tender description

The Isle of Wight Council (‘the Authority’) invited organisations to apply to tender for the provision of homeless families accommodation scheme, supporting households’ transition from homelessness to home. This will provide an opportunity to maximise use of resources with the view to improved outcomes for all Isle of Wight residents. The Isle of Wight Council (‘the Authority’) invited tenders from suitably qualified suppliers (‘Potential Suppliers’) for the provision of homeless families accommodation scheme on the Isle of Wight. This procurement followed the open procedure under the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The Authority invited organisations with relevant experience to establish an accommodation scheme to support households’ transition from homelessness to home. This will provide an opportunity to maximise use of resources with the view to improved outcomes for all Isle of Wight residents. The Authority was seeking to appoint a supplier(s) to deliver accommodation that is located primarily in areas that best meet the needs of the service user. The Authority MAY re-open the scheme at any time to fulfil potential further demands and budgetary allocations. A prior information notice shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Union (or equivalent) and a notice shall be published on contracts finder to notify the market of the re-opening of the scheme. The Authority shall leave the opportunity open for a period of not less than 30 days. Any potential supplier who applies to join the scheme when it is re-opened shall be assessed against the same criteria as is published in this document and the same pass marks shall apply
