Tender description
Tenders are sought for a Universal Materials testing Machine for the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering of Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. A Universal Material Testing Machine with a minimum capacity of 10 kN capable of evaluating the mechanical properties of materials. The machine should perform tensile, compression, bend, peel, tear, stress relaxation, creep, cyclic loading and other mechanical tests with a high displacement range and accuracy. The machines software should calculate various mechanical properties such as Young’s modulus, yield strength, tensile strength, elongation, etc. It should also be capable of displaying and exporting the raw data into Microsoft Excel.
