Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the Authority intends to put in place an agreement for the provision of an Energy Trading System to be utilised by CCS. The exact requirement has yet to be finalised, with drafts shared during the market engagement prior to the publication of any subsequent Contract notice. Additional information: Crown Commercial Service (CCS) intend to instigate a procurement to secure a supplier who can provide a cloud based service for an Energy Trading System. The service required by the CCS is one which can migrate the current data, host the new system, bring improvement to the trading activities, be secure, be resilient, meet regulatory requirements, provide reporting and offer good value for money. The requirement is an off-the-shelf ready to deploy software solution. Please be advised of our intention to commence market engagement with interested organisations. Crown Commercial Service intends to hold market engagement session on 18 February 2020 in London with organisations interested in potentially bidding for the resulting contract. The market engagement event is designed to engage with potential suppliers, socialise the draft statement of requirements, give contextual information and answer questions. The day has also been designed to allow suppliers to have discussions after the main presentation to help validate the plan and provide feedback on the draft documents.
