Educational Psychologist Pool

Tender description

Reed provide a Managed Service for the provision of an Educational Psychologist Pool of workers. Reed are required to source new psychologists if any individual leaves the pool to ensure there is always resources available. The Educational Psycologists provide a range of work with vulnerable children, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The Council currently employs its own educational psychologists, but needs to be able to respond to periods of high demand to ensure that deadlines for statutory assessments are complied with. The contract ensures that periods of excessive demand on the Educational Psychology Service can be covered for the children and young people with SEND who require statutory Education and Health Care Plan assessments within the statutory timescales
