Direct Payment Support Service

Tender description

Sunderland City Council are procuring a contract for the provision of a Direct Payment Support Service. The service comprises of; • A Direct Payments Employment Support Service – This service will support Clients with the recruitment and selection of Personal Assistants and provide on-going employment support. • Payroll Support Service – This service will process timesheets and produce payslips on behalf of the employer to ensure the employer is aware of their obligations when paying their employees. Currently 547 clients access the Direct Payments Support Service for employment advice and support and/or payroll services, 197 clients employ a personal assistant (‘PA’) and there are 48 Personal Health Budget Direct Payments and both aspects of the service will be delivered by a single contractor Keywords: Employment Support, Direct Payment, Payroll Support
