Tender description
Opportunity to prequalify for our asbestos services subcontractor network, in the area of asbestos survey, management and removal (all types). Please note that these services can be split ie. a subcontractor could specalise purely in survey or removal for example. Works will take place on Yorkshire Water AMP7 contracts, commencing in Summer 2020. Contract details and values will be determined on a project by project basis. After initial expression of interest from the subcontractor, we will enter into a prequalification process, where both organisations familiarise themselves with the aims and objectives of the other. Factors which are important: 1. Previous experience in utility environments using high levels of care and due process 2. Strong due diligence, quality processes, and reporting systems 3. Experienced and qualified technicians 4. Ability to interact professional with members of public, when required 5. Provision of case study examples of previous projects, and references from current clients After shortlisting, we will enter into the prequalification process, to progress to account setup. Full feedback will be provided at each stage. Barhale Ltd are a multi disciplined civil engineering contractor with 40 years experience in the water utilities and tunnelling sector. We are proud to have worked for Yorkshire Water as a framework contractor for several Asset Management Plan periods and have recently been successful in the award of 3 frameworks for AMP7, encompassing civils and MEICA works. Two of these frameworks will be jointly delivered between Barhale and Doosan, as respective experts in these areas. The projects will span the full Yorkshire Water supply region. The work delivery schedule is in planning process at present, and will be communicated in due course.
