Tender description

Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH) intends to subcontract most aspects of AC and Chiller Maintenance (Preventative & Reactive) to a specialist service contractor who has proven experience in this field, is familiar with work in a hospital environment and has the necessary resources, experience, knowledge, training and equipment in order to perform its duties. The contract is for a duration of 3 years with an optional 1-year extension if agreed by both parties (at the end of year 3). Pricing must be fixed for the duration of the contract. The Contractor shall attend site at appropriate intervals to carry out Inspections and Planned Preventative Maintenance on the items located Milton Keynes University Hospital Foundation Trust. On each visit the Contractors engineer will sign in, report to the Estates Officer, obtain appropriate permits and then proceed to carry out the service. Tasks will be undertaken on each routine visit as required in this scope of works to the equipment identified. The Contractor shall maintain the equipment in accordance with the recommendations in Health Technical Memorandum and all relevant Law & Guidance in place. • To provide all necessary supervision, labour, materials, consumables, plant, equipment and transportation necessary to carry out the required AC and Chiller Maintenance works at Milton Keynes University Hospital. • All work is to be carried out in accordance with current legislation and relevant codes of practise • Provide a breakdown of costs for each activity in the document provided with this scope.
