Tender description

Thames Water intends to award a number of framework agreements to more than one party for the inspection of electrical installations in hazardous areas to BS EN 60079 Part 17. Inspections to be visual, close and detailed in line with a pre-determined inspection schedule. The services apply across the Thames Water region in over 3 000 sites, from small district pumping stations to large sewage treatment works. The agreement will be split into the following lots: Lot 1: covers inspection and remedials in the Thames Valley West region, Lot 2: covers inspection and remedials in the Thames Valley East region, Lot 3: covers inspection and remedials in the Central North region, Lot 4: covers inspection and remedials in the Central South region, Lot 5: covers inspection and remedials in the East region, Lot 6: covers inspection and remedials in the North region, Lot 7: covers remedials only in all regions. The suppliers can win a maximum of 3 lots within the inspection lots, a maximum of 4 lots in total. Inspection of electrical assets in designated hazardous zones in the Thames Valley West area. The region includes postcodes SN, OX, GL. This lot may include remedials. The tender documents will detail the award procedure for remedials. Remedials of electrical assets in designated hazardous zones in all regions when the inspection supplier for that region has not been awarded the work.
