The procurement process will follow the innovation partnership procedure and is intended to encourage innovative businesses to help United Utilities tackle key efficiency, safety and customer challenges in innovative ways. The United Utilities Innovation Lab will be a 12-week programme and successful candidates will be co-located and work closely with United Utilities to test, develop, improve and demonstrate their product/service in live customer environments. Leading to opportunities for contractual relationships businesses will be invited to put forward proposals in the following key areas; • systems thinking, • circular economy and natural solutions, • Future of Water ODI’s and More, • wild card.
