Replacement of heating systems and installation of modern controls.

Tender description

You are invited to submit a tender to Connexus Housing Limited (Connexus) to provide works as follows; Warmer Homes ERDF project Workstream 1b-Replacement of heating systems and installation of modern controls. Workstream 1b comprises the installation of High Heat Retention storage heating systems and solid fuel stoves to 82 properties off the mains gas grid in Shropshire and installation of modern heating controls to 50 properties on mains gas in Hereford. The successful contractor will be appointed through a JCT (Joint Contracts Tribunal) Standard Building Contract and complete the Works to the design and specification information provided. This workstream shall ensure that the Passivhaus principles and characteristics of the Warmer Homes project will be maintained, these include: - An airtight building envelope - A thermal bridge free design - Quality control procedures - Energy modelling using the Passivhaus Planning Package (PHPP - by Connexus) - Good or excellent frequency of overheating (according to the PHPP modelling)
