Tender description
Tenders are sought for the supply of a Pulsed Micromachining Laser for the Mechanical Engineering Department, DCU. This purchase will be funded by the EU under a H2020 research project focussing on generating nano- and micro-scale structures (including Laser-Induced Periodic Surface Structuring) for improving surface performance (anti-fouling, reduced friction, cavitation reduction etc) for applications in, amongst others, the marine and water treatment industries.
