Service for mass spectrometers and associated liquid chromatography equipment at Polyomics for 14 months from 1st July 2020 to August 31st 2021. Procurement Policy Exception Form completed. PPE Ref 5907 Direct award of PPE for annual service contract from Thermo Fisher Scientific for Fusion, Elite Orbiitrap, Q-Exactive and Exactive mass spectrometers (MS) and their associated liquid chromatography (LC) systems. Service for mass spectrometers and associated liquid chromatography equipment at Polyomics for 14 months from 1st July 2020 to August 31st 2021. This direct award is justified as competition is absent for technical reasons and is exempt under Regulations 6 (1) b (II) of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016. This is also permitted for reasons of extreme urgency under Regulations 6 (1) C of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016. Procurement Policy Exception Form completed.
