Provision of laboratory equipment to upgrade the unit's ability to carry out rapid and accurate identification of micro organisms and detection of antimicrobial resistance. — Malditof mass spectrometer, — Vitek 2, — Bactalert 3D. Three years service contract. The MRC Unit carries out immunology analysis of novel vaccine responses and protective immunity to tuberculosis and malaria. To improve their current facilities and tools the need for an upgrade of the microbiology platform have been identified.
