KMCCYP-145 - Detached Play and Youth Worker Offer (DPYWO)

Tender description

The Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the “Council”) has established a Dynamic Purchasing System (“DPS”) for the provision of detached play and youth work . The Council aims to work with Partners to engage groups of Children and Young People in informal settings, including the street, parks, open spaces, industrial estates and housing estates, engaging with those who are not involved with other Play and Youth Work provision. It is an important strand of work to support Children and Young People who may otherwise be exposed to risk and exploitation. The Council intends to establish a DPYWO in order to identify and work with approved Partners to deliver youth work in detached settings (the “Services”). This DPYWO will allow Applicants to become eligible to provide the Services alongside the Council. The DPYWO is anticipated to commence on 20th July 2020 for an estimated period of four (4) years.
