Tender description

Cottsway Housing Association is a social business providing affordable homes in West Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire owning approx 5 000 homes. Cottsway will soon be looking to procure their grounds maintenance, cleaning, handyperson and tree management services. The primary purpose of this PIN is to inform suppliers of a pre-tender market engagement exercise to gain an insight from contractors/service providers in the current marketplace, which may be used to inform the specification and qualitative aspects of any forthcoming tenders for the associated services. A short soft market questionnaire has been developed to aid this process which can be obtained via the email contact in this PIN notice. Please note, this is not a call for competition. Cottsway Housing are in the process of defining grounds maintenance, cleaning, handyperson and tree management services provided to customers across their estate in order to progress with the procurement of new service contracts in these areas. Work has been undertaken to identify the nature, volume and location of these requirements and some initial ideas are forming of how best to procure these services. However, prior to developing the detailed procurement process and tender documents it is Cottsway's intention to approach the marketplace to gain insight into the latest ideas, options and principles which may help form robust, efficient and workable solutions across all associated services to achieve their objectives. Cottsway are seeking candid feedback from this exercise to inform the procurement process so that it achieves the best possible outcome.
