Conversion of Tretower Court Barn

Cadw is the Welsh Government's historic environment service working for an accessible and well-protected historic environment for Wales. Cadw have a requirement for a qualified and experienced contractor to deliver the conversion of Tretower Court Barn. Tretower Court and Castle are set to the north of the Usk Valley about 3 kilometres north-west of Crickhowell. The current access and Visitor Centre is minimal in size, and modest retail area. The existing facilities have ‘out grown’ their usefulness to accommodate for the modern visitor. Therefore Cadw has made a decision to improve the visitor facilities/attractions to accommodate increased visitor numbers by refurbishing the old Barn. All bidders are encouraged to visit site prior to submitting their bid and contact details of how to arrange a site visit are included in the tender pack.
