Summary of the work Opportunity to work on a Private Cloud platform and to project manage enhancements and new requirements to improve its functionality, performance, security, robustness and future proof its capability. Specialist role Programme manager Expected Contract Length Approved works for up to 6 months. Option to review an extension, up to a further a 12 month. Latest start date Tuesday 30 June 2020 Maximum Day Rate up to £625 per day Approval for £70K. Who Speclialist Work With The team is embedded with the Analytical community and serves other external departments, all users are Analysts (Statisticians, Economists, Operational Researchers and Social Researchers). What Specialists Work On 1. Will project manage the new requirements and enhancement of Analytical platform. 2. Ensure that all projects and product documentation is completed. 3. Support & advise senior manager with requirement gathering for large projects 4. Help implement technical tools for established and new processes. Skills & Experience • Have minimum 5 years demonstrable project management experience within a private cloud environment - 15 points • Have minimum 5 years project management experience working in technology, ideally within Civil Service - 15 points • Evidence of project managing a migration to a private cloud environment - 10 points • Demonstrable experience of working with OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE data (commercial or personal) - 10 points • Demonstrable experience of working with relational databases - 10 points • Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing new business processes - 10 points Nice to Haves • Demonstrable experience of working of Microsoft Windows Server environment (any version) - 5 points • Demonstrable experience of working with an Ubuntu Linux Server environment (any version) - 5 points Work Location Westminster, London.
