Tender description

The corporate cleaning contract provides day to day cleaning for council buildings on a daily basis, and allows for ad hoc cleaning to be requested following specific events as and when required. The contract now entails the cleaning of 102 sites located throughout the borough with a housekeeping provision provided to three main campus corporate buildings, these being Hackney Town Hall, Hackney Service Centre and 2 Hillman Street. The contract has performed well in meeting its targets and objectives to ensure council buildings are clean and tidy in readiness for public and staff daily. The service provider continues to be extremely flexible in the delivery of its service in line with current Council requirements, which has seen further sites being removed and further sites being added to the portfolio during the term. These have included the temporary closure of sites due to COVID-19, with cleaning staff suitably and successfully redeployed elsewhere within the account to support key work.
