Tender description

The contractor shall co-ordinate the delivery of the annual monitoring programme for private water supplies registered with the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) under The Private Water Supplies Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2017. This is to include the scheduling, collection, analysis and reporting of analytical results for these drinking water supplies. It should be noted that, under normal circumstances, this contract does not require the contractor to undertake sampling at individual private water supplies; this function is carried out by local Environmental Health staff at Councils across Northern Ireland. The contractor shall schedule these water samples and provide sample bottles, collect the samples from the individual council offices and arrange for their storage and transportation to laboratory, analysis of the samples and subsequent reporting of the analytical results to DWI.
