Taxi & Small Bus Services - Further Competition (3)

Tender description

Kingston upon Hull City Council (the Authority) sought providers to supply & deliver transport services for Education and Social Care with suitably qualified operators of Private Hire, Hackney Carriage and PSV/PCV vehicles. The vehicle categories we require is : Category 1 - Up to 8 seats (taxi) Category 5 - Adapted taxi. The service will be for the transportation of pupils and passenger assistants (where applicable) to schools/colleges and either back home again, or to other designated points. The routes and destinations for this transport provision may be within the boundaries of Hull but may also be to and from locations outside of the Authority’s geographical boundaries. The Authority will be re tendering 3 Call off/Add Hoc contracts, (Bransholme Area, North Hull Area and East Hull Area).Tenderers can bid for one or more contracts. The service demand for these routes may increase/decrease by user demand. The Authority proposes to enter into Contract(s) for 2 years, with options to extend at the discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance. Service commencement will be 8 July 2020. The contracts are awarded to: 57 Taxis Ltd (North Hull area, Bransholme Area, East Hull Area)
