Under the direction of the board of Savour Kilkenny Food Festival Committee and in cooperation with food/drinks producers, restaurants, cafés, hotels and the wider food community in Kilkenny city and county, the board of Savour Kilkenny would like to appoint a suitable project management company to undertake the design, delivery and implementation of a series of imaginative food events (minimum 25) throughout Kilkenny city and county over the weekends in the last quarter of 2020. The board of Savour Kilkenny believes that such an initiative will be of extreme importance and will assist in the challenging process of economic re-generation of the food economy in Kilkenny city and county. The business challenges ‘post’ COVID19 makes the successful delivery of this initiative all the more important; It aims to provide the Kilkenny food community and hospitality sector with assistance in the reopening / rebuilding process. It is hoped that the maximum number of Kilkenny businesses will work with the appointed team to consider, design, market and deliver a significant food event that will add value, positivity and finance to their businesses.
