The purpose of the Soft Market Test is to gather knowledge of providers in the market and commonly available functionality within systems available which will help inform any subsequent procurement exercise that may be carried out. The Soft Market Test is not a formal procurement process and is being used to assist in shaping the requirements to ensure the solution best meets the needs of the Council. The Soft Market Test process does not commit the Council to any design, platform, application, feature, function or technological solution of any of the providers who choose to participate in the process. Sefton Council seek to invite Organisations to express an interest in providing a 24-hour care and support service, to a 23year old male, by way of a suitable existing vacancy within an all-male residential / supported living service. Fuller detail is provided on the Soft Market Test document uploaded herein Please Note : Although the Council has indicated within this Chest opportunity that it is a 12 month requirement, in reality the Council cannot predict how long the placement will be required for, as if it is successful then it may run for much longer. The Council is estimating expenditure to be approximately £80,000 per anum. The Council has also indicated a start date of 1st of August 2020, but the actual start date will be dictated by the response to the expression of interest, and any subsequent procurement exercise.
