Tender description

Purchase of comprehensive service contract for MR Linac. The Trust needs to purchase service contract for new MR Linac. The Elekta Unity system installed at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust was manufactured by Elekta. The Elekta Unity system is a medical device and is therefore required to undergo regular servicing as set out in the preventive maintenance instructions by the manufacturer. This award includes the necessary service activities but also repairs and on-site visits in case of a device breakdown including the provision of the required spare parts. Elekta will provide internet and phone support to achieve the contractual defined uptime of the system. Upgrades for software and hardware including a technology refresh are also included.
