Dumfries and Galloway Council is introducing a new twin-stream kerbside recycling service across the whole region. Collections will be as follows: — residual waste – fortnightly, — paper, card and cardboard recyclables – 4-weekly, — metal, plastic and carton recyclables – 4-weekly. Dumfries and Galloway Council would like to invite potential service providers to supply material specifications (Dos and Don’ts, Yes Please and No Thank you) for the materials that would be acceptable for your sorting and processing facilities should you wish to bid for one or both of these recycling streams.
