RE05819 - MOSSBROOK SCHOOL KITCHEN IMPROVEMENTS

Tender description

The project will include, but is not limited to: Extension and fit out of store room (alterations to existing layout), including the installation of new hygienic cladding; Alterations to mechanical and electrical services, and supply and installation of new catering equipment; Design, supply and installation of new extract canopy to service new equipment; Replacement of Fire Doors; Installation of Fire Shutter; Alterations to existing fixtures and fittings to suit new layout; Installation of Fire Barrier in ceiling void; Replacement of ceiling grid, tiles and lighting within kitchen areas; and Decoration to kitchen areas. The Contractor should ensure that they have included for any costs associated with current Government restrictions surrounding the Covid-19 crisis. Allowances should be made on the assumption that the current Government measures, in accordance with the 'Construction Leadership Council's Construction Sector - Site Operating Procedures - Protecting your Workforce during Coronavirus' document, will be in place for the duration of the Contract. The Contractor should also make allowances for issues which may be encountered due to restrictions within their own or sub-contractors' supply chains.
