N/M20 Cork to Limerick Road Improvement Scheme: Site Investigation Framework Contract

Tender description

Limerick City and County Council, in conjunction with Cork County Council, Cork City Council, Transport Infrastructure Ireland and the Mid West National Road Design Office, are undertaking site investigations studies as part of the N/M20 Cork to Limerick Road Improvement Scheme. It is envisaged that there will be a number of site investigation contracts running concurrently in the study area at Option Selection stage (Q4 2020/Q1 2021) and at Preferred Option Stage (2021/2022). Site investigation comprising, cable percussive boreholes, rotary cored holes, dynamic probes, window samplers, trial pits, in situ testing, installation of standpipes/piezometer standpipes/ groundwater level monitoring, sample collection, associated laboratory testing, geophysical survey works, and production of ground investigation factual report. The Contractor shall act as PSCS for the duration of the works. Provided a sufficient number of suitable Applicants are available, it is anticipated that a maximum of seven tenderers will be appointed to the Framework. If greater than seven suitable Applicants are available, then the quality submissions will be assessed, and the seven highest ranked Tenderers will be appointed to the Framework.
