Tender description

Supply and installation of up to 3 CNC milling machines to support repair of aluminium armoured vehicles at MOD Donnington. Supply and installation of up to 3 CNC milling machines to support repair of aluminium armoured vehicles at MOD Donnington and is to include design, approval and completion of all ground works on site and the installation of the machines. The machines should require the minimum number of operator interventions during both set up and operation. Geometric accuracy is required to +/- 0.001 mm. The maximum work piece dimensions are 6.34 m x 3 m x 1.9 m. The work piece material is grade 1 and grade 2 7000 series aluminium. Work piece thickness ranges from 15 mm to 100 mm and the maximum work piece weight in 7 tonnes.
