Tender description
The works are to be undertaken along National Primary Road, N2 - Collon to Ardee. The works will involve the following: Establishing the location of all underground and overhead services prior to commencement of works. Milling existing carriageway and reinstating with a bituminous overlay. Excavating/planing predetermined distressed sections of pavement to a maximun depth of 175mm and reinstatement of same with hot bituminous material. Provision of road signage and road markings in compliance with national standards. All works to be carried out in accordance with “Chapter 8, DOE Traffic Signs Manual”. Ensuring that all signing, lighting and guarding at the road works are carried out in accordance with Chapter 8 “Signs for Road Works” issued by the Department of Environment or any amendment thereof. Ensure the safe unloading / loading and storage of construction materials.
