Tender description

Cork City Council's Housing Maintenance Section is seeking to establish 2 no multi participant frameworks utilising the Public Works Term Maintenance and Refurbishment Works Contract (PW-CF11) and the associated Framework Agreement. The type of works likely to arise (by Task Orders) through the frameworks will largely involve maintenance, refurbishment, repair and adaptation works to the existing social housing stock. However, Cork City Council may utilise the frameworks to carry out non-housing related works including minor works on other City Council buildings, offices, facilities, assets or in other situations. As outlined in the tender documents accompanying this RFT, tenderers are required to complete pricing documents in relation to the refurbishment of a number of real/existing vacant social housing units in Cork City (11 no units total between Framework A and Framework B). The price submitted for these works will form part of the tender assessment (including ranking of Framework Participants) as further described in the Instructions to Tenderers (ITT). Tenderers may tender for both Framework A and Framework B or for any one of the frameworks on its own (note that the frameworks are presented in this RFT as 'lots'). The maximum number of Framework Participants will be 8 in each Framework and the Employer may appoint a number of Reserve Participants. Any contractor included on a framework will be required to act as PSCS in respect of task orders that may be issued to them. Unless otherwise stated in the Forms of Tender and Schedule, the maximum duration of the frameworks shall not exceed 2 years and the maximum sum (cumulative total of all task orders) in each framework will be €2 million. The Employer may also award contracts for work covered by this framework in other ways and does not guarantee that any work will be awarded through the frameworks.
