Tender description

Business West plans to run a randomised controlled trial. The trial, led by Business West, includes the other members of the Cavendish Consortium (trading as Cavendish Enterprise) i.e TEDCO Business Support Ltd, Enterprise First (Southern) Ltd, NBV Enterprise Solutions Ltd; together with Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). We will be collaborating with Warwick Business School for the evaluation and for reporting. The trial will run from June 2020 to February 2022. Business West is seeking to appoint a provider that can deliver two waves of survey interviews each comprising up to four hundred and twenty completed interviews with Founders/MD/CEOs of family businesses. Activities will include set-up, input on questionnaire design, sample cleaning and processing, online questionnaire, telephone fieldwork, project management, and provision of a clean and coded dataset after each wave of fieldwork. The delivery partners will recruit two hundred and eighty businesses for the service. The successful bidder will recruit one hundred and forty businesses.
