Tender description

United Utilities require water treatment chemicals for the steam raising plant on UU Waste Water sites, which consists of a number of boilers. Steam raising equipment needs to be protected from the effects of scale and corrosion as it can shorten asset life and lead to inefficiencies of operation. United Utilities intend to put a framework in place for the supply and delivery of boiler chemicals for UU Waste Water sites. The existing requirements are for the following UU sites: • Burnley, • Leigh, • Lancaster, • Manchester Bioprocessing Centre (MBC).
