Tender for supply of Hybrid E Bikes

Tender description

Sheffield City Council (SCC) is wishing to purchase a number of different types of hybrid e bikes. The opportunity is split in to 3 lots. There is no limit on the number of lots that suppliers can bid for or be awarded. Bikes in Lot 1a and 1b will be used as part of a Social Prescribing scheme that will be delivered in Sheffield. The bikes will be provided to individuals following referral from a GP. As such they need to be suitable for individuals who may be suffering from a variety of conditions including but not limited to Asthma, Diabetes, Chronic Pain and Mental Health Issues. The bikes in Lot 2 will be utilised by both Police Community Support Officers and also Civil Enforcement Officers. These bikes will be of a suitable trekking style appropriate for their envisaged operations.
