NHS Highland requires the provision of a Medical Support Service for the new Badenoch and Strathspey Community Hospital to be based in Aviemore. NHS Highland requires a medical support service for the new Badenoch and Strathspey Community Hospital to be based in Aviemore. The hospital, which will include a 20 bed inpatient unit and a day care service, requires medical support during the hours of 8.00 to 18.00, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per annum and excludes weekends and public holidays. The service shall consist of inpatient clinical decision support which will involve providing telephone advice or attendance by a GP or suitably qualified advanced nurse practitioner as required.
