Tender description

London Borough of Brent are seeking to deliver 2 learning disabilities services under one provider within the Brent’s New Accommodation for Independent Living Project (NAIL). NAIL is the largest and most strategically important efficiency and quality improvement initiative within Brent’s Adult Social Care Department. The services will be delivered from 127 and 129 Harrowdene Road, each service contains 5 units. The provider will be required to deliver CQC regulated activities of personal care. Both services will provide 24 hour care and support, including waking night cover. The service will support people who have medium to high level of learning disabilities. The duration of the contracts will be for a maximum of 3 years, on a 2 years plus one basis. Estimated commencement of the service will be November 2020. The maximum estimated value across both services for the proposed 3 year contract is GBP 1 575 369. Interested providers are invited to attend a provider engagement session to be held on 22nd July). The event will provide providers with further information on the services and procurement process. Providers interested in attending the online provider engagement session must book their place by expressing an interest and requesting a registration template using the messaging system of the online portal no later than 5 p.m. on 20 July 2020. Providers are asked to limit the number of attendees to no more than 1 representative. This PIN does not constitute a commitment by the Council to undertake any procurement exercise and the Council reserves the right to change its approach. A separate notice will be published if a procurement exercise is undertaken.
