ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE SURVEYS AND HTM COMPLIANT ELECTRICAL UPGRADE TO OPERATING THEATRES AT ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL

Tender description

This project is located in St. Joseph’s Hospital Raheny. This hospital is under the management of Beaumont Hospital. The client for this project is Beaumont Hospital. The Client's representatives on this project are Beaumont Hospital’s Technical Services Department, assisted by MARSON Consulting Engineers. The objective of this project is to validate the existing electrical infrastructure and install a HTM compliant and Group 2 medical location, electrical system for Operating Theatres 1 and 2. This is a design and build project; the contractor appointed to complete this project shall design, install, test and completed all works as outlined within the performance specification contained in the Invitation to Tender documents. The contractor referred to within the Invitation to Tender documentation is the main contractor and is responsible for all works associated with this project.If required, the contractor shall employ specialist contractors or sub-contractors as necessary to complete, certify and sign-off the works requirements. As the Contractor is responsible for the Design and Installation of the works, they must assume responsibility for Health and Safety in each instance. Therefore, the contractor will appoint a PSCS and a PSDP as part of this contract. Builders works will be required as part of this project and the contractor will be required to find suitable locations for various pieces of equipment which may involve modifications to the existing building.
