Tender description

Under this contract, it is intended for the Contractor to take possession of the development site of approximately 27.75Ha in area for the purposes of carrying out bog restoration works. The Works can be summarised as follows: • Construction of peat dams within existing drains. • Construction of plastic dams to form weirs where necessary. • Construction of enhanced peat dams (Double Dams) where required. • Construction of trench bunds and finger bunds • Construction of temporary silt pond and associated temporary fencing. Lifebuoy also to be erected. • Erection of Warning Signs cautioning of danger due to deep water • Tree Felling
