Tender description
Thames Water are looking for a number of partners to help us cover the design, supply, install, repair and maintenance of all waste and water pumps across the Thames Water and Alliance requirements. We have split our requirements into lots: Lot 1: Design, supply and install, repair and maintain all water pumps; Lot 2: Design, supply and install, repair and maintain all Waste pumps; Lot 3: Supply and install sewage treatment (dry solids above 6 %) pumps; Lot 4: Design, supply, install, repair and maintain flood prevention units (FLIPS); Lot 5: Design, supply, install, repair and maintain specialist/bespoke pumps. Bidders can apply for more than one lot and can submit commercial bids for individual lots as well as variant bids for combined lots. In the event that we limit the maximum number of lots to be awarded to any successful bidder, we may apply your preferences in deciding on which lots you are awarded. We aim to appoint a maximum of 4 suppliers to the framework agreement which will include design, supply and install, repair and maintain all Water pumps. Mini competitions will be run between awarded suppliers in the case of: (a) high value projects; (b) where a significant proportion of the work required is not listed and pre-priced in the commercial schedule. More details of this will be given in the procurement documents.
