Tender description

To deliver core technology services which we can scale to meet the needs of the organisations corporate plan and digital transformation programme. This particular notice relates to the requirement to replace cabling as part of the upgrade to ISDN lines. A gap/dependency to manage for pre-requisite work (power, cabling and cabinet supply and installation) was identified after the original tender provision was undertaken in 2019 through a competitive dialogue. As much of our onsite kit is that of ANS, warranties would be voided if another contractor were to open and work within the cabinets. Cabling to support the network replacement programme tendered in 2019 through a competitive dialogue procurement. ANS was awarded the original contract and as their equipment (‘the boxes’) are prevalent throughout our estate, any warranty will be void if another contractor were to modify any piece of equipment within the boxes. In addition, we cannot afford a delay to the programme. A quotation from the provider was sought for this work.
