Invitation to Tender for the Replacement of the Existing Fire Alarm installation and all associated works

Tender description

The site is a former FAS training centre engaged in teaching of engineering, construction & associated skills. The located in an urban area of Ballytivnan, Co. Sligo with neighbouring premises consisting of residential & a school. The building is arranged on a single storey in 2 separate blocks and works are proposed throughout the existing main building with only a link to the existing fire alarm system in the adjacent community service building. The building is bounded by access roads, all of which are accessible to and frequented by members of the public. The main access is via the N16 national primary route – Manorhamilton Road via the dedicated gates to the site. The site is fully segregated & fenced. The contractor can utilize the car park & rear yard as the compound during the works. Please see the tender drawing register issued with the tender documentation as these drawings need to be reviewed in conjunction with this document. This project is an electrical project and involves the replacement of the existing fire alarm in the school, including all necessary builders works & reinstatement. The proposed project commencement date is Monday 27th July to 28th August 2020. Ongoing consultation between PSDP and PSCS prior to commencement on site will be required to verify the Project Timeline.
