Hosting and Support of MPRO5 Application Platform

Tender description

Tenders are invited for the hosting and ongoing support for an MPRO5 Cloud Mobile application development platform for use by the Office of Public Works (OPW). The OPW uses Android mobile devices. Prices shall be fixed for the duration of the contract period (inc. any extensions). The OPW will use the system to develop Mobile Apps that would be mainly for internal use but may also have interfaces with external third parties or systems. Tenderers shall outline their experience with hosting and managing the MPRO5 system and provide examples of work undertaken for other organisations. At least three reference sites shall be provided along with contact details and the value of the contracts. Tenderers shall set in their response their software development capabilities using the MPRO5 platform. The MPRO5 OPW platform will be used to create and manage Mobile Apps for site inspections and other related purposes. Typical uses cases would include a system to assist with playground and tree management, better record keeping, more efficient inspection and maintenance programming, better management of available resources, better defence of insurance claims, a long-term reduction in claims, higher efficiency, more effective information sharing, easier availability and production of reports and technical information.
