The scope of the services required for the cable diversion comprises of: • detail design, • procurement, • construction/build, • pre-commissioning, • support to commissioning (by others). The cables comprise of low voltage (400 v), high voltage (11 kV) communication cables (telecontrol) to include civil infrastructure. Located on a nuclear licensed site, external to the current onsite national nuclear laboratory within the Sellafield site. Currently identified as eight cable diversion packages of work (D&B) and 1 Civil work package (build to print) relating to the diversion and/or replacement of a number of cables owned by the Utilities department and provision of a new cable pit. There is also a requirement to include the provision of new power supplies of 400 V. It is to be noted that it is estimated that 80 % of the work is associated with low voltage work. Provision of design and build services association with high 11 kV, low voltage 400 V and associated control/telecontrol cable diversion. Provision of civil infrastructure design and build to accommodate diversions, cable ducts, pits etc.
