Summary of the work Redbridge are seeking a Data Migration & Interfaces Manager to oversee the data cleansing, migration and interfacing activities of the project. The core legacy housing system Northgate (OHMS) is to be replaced as well as six other legacy systems including Asset Management (Codeman) and Needs (Hope). Tasks to be broken down to work packages. Who Speclialist Work With You will report into the project manager and be an integral part of a small project team. You will mentor junior data analysts. What Specialists Work On Develop a Data Migration Strategy and document, which covers business/data quality requirements, sources of data from the legacy systems. Manage the data cleansing and migration work-stream. Oversee the implementation of interfaces. Lead the data work-stream in developing various mappings and process flows using SQL and other business intelligence tools to migrate data from the Legacy systems. Develop Test plans, scripts and execution test cases for Systems End to End testing and UAT. Skills & Experience • Housing • Data Cleansing • Data Migration • Interfaces • Full data lifecycle of project. • Excel for data cleansing and migration Nice to Haves • Experience of data migration from Northgate OHMS • Experience of Housing, Local Council, Repairs, Asset Management interfaces • Experience of Oracle and SQL Server • Experience of managing Junior Staff • Full understanding of data protection practice and GDPR • Database administration experience and understanding of data management Work Location The Office is in Ilford, London but all staff are currently working remotely, Going forward your time will likely be split between working in Ilford and working remotely. Working Arrangments Working hours are generally office hours (mon - fri 9 - 5). Although the specialist is expected to work outside of these hours at critical times of the project e.g. cutover to go live, testing.
