Who Speclialist Work With The programme (Shared Technology Products) and Tooling programme delivery teams, Service Architecture, Design and Introduction (SADI), Enterprise Services, other DDaT delivery programmes. What Specialists Work On Producing service designs which ensure that support for the new service is comprehensive, efficient and reuses existing capability. Developing and documenting the proposed service design for the integration and implementation of solutions, working with and across other areas of Home Office to ensure that the requirements are included in business cases, project plans, procurements and Service Design Packages. Leading the evaluation of a new service once it has been integrated, identifying best practices and lessons learned. Creating detailed plans for the integration of new services into existing architecture, considering the broader context, strategies and operating model of the organisation. Where the Work Takes Place Home based during Covid 19 restrictions then 2 Marsham Street, SW1P 4DF /Croydon Campus /Other DDaT locations as required. Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements A typical working day is 9am-5pm, however working outside of these hours may be required due to business/project need. The role requires flexibility as individuals may be required to work at any of the Customer premises and/or at supplier sites. The role is outside of IR35 Work Location Home based during Covid 19 restrictions then 2 Marsham Street, SW1P 4DF /Croydon Campus /Other DDaT locations as required. Security Clearance SC. The Home Office will sponsor clearance. The start date is subject to clearance / transfer of clearance. Additional T&Cs Travel expenses are payable for journeys outside the M25 where approved in advance by the customer and in line with Home Office Travel policy (subsistence is not payable). Skills & Experience Evidence strong process, technical and team leadership skills, with a passion for delivering leading edge designs and inspiring a culture of technical excellence and innovative solution design Have experience of navigating the complex landscapes of technologies, 3rd party suppliers (driving the procurement process), internal and cross-government (or similarly complex) teams Have experience of management & delivery of complex service solutions within time, cost and quality targets, ensuring solutions are robust, resilient, and appropriately implemented, tested and documented Evidence experience of defining standards, owning and contributing to the technical roadmap and strategy Evidence experience in anticipating and advising on future technology changes that present opportunities for the product or service Communicate clearly in a language which meets the needs of different users/ stakeholders through selecting the appropriate channels and formats, and managing expectations whilst adapting to stakeholders’ reactions with flexibility Nice to Haves No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria Work transparently and collaboratively in a no-blame culture, encouraging all to fail fast and learn from mistakes Demonstrate experience of supporting and coaching other team members Evidence their confidence to challenge the status quo Evidence of taking responsibility for their work Assessment Method Reference Interview Scenario or test Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 50% Cultural fit 10% Price 40% Questions from Suppliers No questions have been answered yet Budget range £725
