United Utilities is exploring how it can better understand the health and performance of our assets in near real time, which we see as being key to meeting some of our capability aspirations in AMP7. To this end information is requested from suppliers who have the ability/experience in delivering an asset reliability approach which will enable capabilities such as condition based maintenance, root cause analysis, asset criticality application, asset health monitoring and asset lifecycle management to large asset intensive clients. Covering the whole of the North West of England and supplying 7 m customers with water and wastewater services we have the aspiration to improve our asset reliability capability across the whole of our region. This notice is primarily interested in an enterprise level asset reliability platform that provides the collection, analysis, visualisation and integration of a variety of data sources including but, not limited to, real-time asset performance and operational process data, asset condition, computerised maintenance management system data (e.g. SAP). Reponses are requested on the case study competency matrix enclosed, appendices are permitted up to 1 side of A4 per case study (font size 12).
