Tender description
The proposed works consist of works to the school building to make the building more accessible for wheelchair users namely, i) Conversion of existing two cubicle toilet into one accessible wc with all associated works and fittings. ii) Works to five entrance doors to make them wheelchair accessible with four doors to be replaced, new ramps, thresholds and entrance mats to be provided. iii) Works to three double leaf internal doors with door leaves to be replaced to provide accessible clear openings through one door leaf. iv) Works to five single leaf internal doors where the structural opening needs to be widened and new doors fitted with accessible clear openings. v) Steps to be eliminated from the footpath on the south side of the building and a new footpath to be constructed at the rear of the building. vi) New entrance mats to be fitted in existing matwells.
