Tender description

The principal objective of the contract is to appoint a suitably qualified organisation to provide a weed control service consisting of three (3) applications per annum, to control weed growth in streets, along traffic islands, footways/pavements, around roundabouts, including those out with 30 mph signs. In the main, these will include: (a) where a pavement is wider than the conventional measurements; (b) along kerbs and walls; (c) a road made up of paviour sets; (d) tree pits and raised sets in pavements; (e) steps; (f) central reservations; (g) all Interlinking lanes (interlinking lanes are the perimeter of each lane); Roundabouts and central reservations and the smaller traffic islands, out with 30 mph signs.
