Tender for the supply of equipment to add value to the by-products of a 0.5MW Scale anaerobic digestion plant

Tender description

A 0.5MW anaerobic digestion (AD) plant has being developed at Ballyroan, Co Laois. The AD plant generates heat and electricity and has been commissioned and operational since October 2018. Rockbrook AD Ltd has opened a tendering process for the supply and installation of equipment which will complement the core operation of the Plant and facilitate an innovative utilisation of the by-products of the anaerobic digestion process. This equipment will facilitate the piloting of an innovative local district heating system (where new equipment installed at the plant will ultimately provide heating to the Sue Ryder House complex and the local Church in Ballyroan) and will be a first for this type of plant in the Republic Of Ireland. The drying / dewatering unit and associated equipment will allow Rockbrook to add value to the plant inputs, fertiliser outputs, to dry / dewater residual waste, generate a suitable refused derived fuel from the residual waste and also to filter and extract air from the drying / dewatering processes. Specifically, the following equipment is required. • Lot 1 Heat Distribution System • Lot A Drying / Dewatering Compactor Unit and Associated Air Filter System Note that tender will be divided into 2 separate lots as follows. Tenderers are invited to submit tenders for each lot separately. If tendering for more than one lot then note that pricing and spec offered for each lot should be clearly separated (proposals for each lot will be assessed and scored separately).
